Stypendia na Węgrzech


Warto pamiętać o tegorocznym terminie składania podań o stypendia w Instytucie Balassiego – 30 maja 2011. Oto wstępne informacje na temat jednego z nich:

Bálint Balassi Scholarship Program

The Ministry of Public Administration and Justice (KIM), within the framework of the Polish-Hungarian Partnership Program 2011, announces two scholarships for the length of three months.

Successful candidates will receive a EUR 800 monthly scholarship grant to cover their travel expenses, accommodation and other costs related to the program. They will be required to complete an essay in Polish about Hungary at the end of the three month period. The scope of the assignment should be 40-60 000 characters.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Justice will provide the successful candidates with an opportunity to meet experts and research institution relevant to their field of expertise and interest.

Requirements:

–          Age of 24-35

–          Polish citizenship

–          Minimum of 8 completed semesters

–          Fluency in English language

Desirable:

–          Graduate of Law, Political Science or Journalism

–          Competence in Hungarian language

–          Previous scientific or other publication

Scholarship:

Candidates are required to hand in an essay of approximately 10 000 characters in Polish on the following topic:

“What kind of common opportunities does the year 2011 offer for Poland and Hungary?”

Applications should contain:

–         CV

–         Essay of approx. 10 000 characters

–         Motivation letter no longer than page including the field of interest related to Hungary

Personal interviews will take place in Warsaw at Wegierski Instytut Kultury w Warszawie on 6 and 7 June 2011.

Successful candidates will be contacted by mail by 15 June. The scholarship will take place in Budapest, Hungary between 15 September and 15 December.

Deadline for completed assignment at the end of the program: 10 December 2011.
